King Salman Global Academy for Arabic (KSGAAL)
Project type
Exhibition
Date
sep 2025
Location
New York, Tokyo, Seoul, and Paris
This project presents a series of four bespoke pavilions designed for the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL), located in South Korea, Japan, the United States, and France. Each pavilion serves as a cultural and architectural ambassador, translating the Academy’s identity into a contemporary spatial experience while engaging deeply with the local context of its host country.
The designs merge KSGAAL’s modern, intellectual, and linguistic identity with distinctive architectural motifs, materials, and spatial philosophies drawn from each nation. The result is a collection of pavilions that are unified by a common vision, yet individually expressive—celebrating cultural dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the global presence of the Arabic language.
Conceived as flexible, immersive spaces, the pavilions are designed to host exhibitions, interactive installations, and cultural events. Together, they form a cohesive global narrative that reflects KSGAAL’s mission: bridging cultures through language, design, and innovation.
